The port doesn't know about the name-mangling used for the auto* tools 
on FreeBSD. I'll try to work up a patch for it as soon as time permits. 
Don't hold your breath waiting though.

There will be a new release made into ports fairly soon after the new 
version is officially released. We won't make a port of an unreleased 
version.

The 3.0.1 release on the kdevelop website was basically unbuildable, so 
the next release will be 3.0.2, due soon.
