libgda has been fixed, I think, but there is still a guile-gnome and
gtkhtml incompatibility - this is in the gnome source, I think.  I
disabled gtk support in the guile-gnome makefile and am running gnome
again.

     As of about 4 days ago there were problems with some of the
   dependencies for both KDE and Gnome.  The libgda problem that broke
   Gnome was caused by the authors releasing a new distfile (new
   checksum) but not bumping the version number.  Both have been fixed
   now and should build fine.  A new version of KDE should be out any day
   now.  Unfortunately the KDE people seem to have experienced a server
   failure at a very inopportune time.
