It doesn't. If the port is broken and the fix is obvious, MAINTAINER should be bypassed. MAINTAINER is not a solid lock in ports, unless it's for something huge and complicated (cf. GNOME/KDE). MAINTAINER can be bypassed (notice "can" vs. "should") for style fixes, if they are appropriate. --=20 wca --oszPHF7CpAHCUy7e Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6yS/RF47idPgWcsURAtW3AJ0dNuCyyIdsrvvkloNiDWUOhs05UwCfQEqP dRez291/NczJpYbRvfLy+SI= =xp21 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --oszPHF7CpAHCUy7e-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
