Hi I have Compaq ARMADA M700 with sound ESS Technology Maestro-2E: boot -v [skip] FreeBSD 5.1-CURRENT #1: Mon Jun 23 01:19:00 MSD 2003 [skip] TSC timecounter disabled: APM enabled. CPU: Intel Pentium III (696.95-MHz 686-class CPU) [skip] pcm0: <ESS Technology Maestro-2E> port 0x4400-0x44ff irq 11 at device 8.0 on pci 0 setmap (648000, 4000), nseg=1, error=0 pcm0: Maestro DMA base: 0x648000 pcm0: <SigmaTel STAC9721/23 AC97 Codec (id = 0x83847609)> pcm0: Codec features 18 bit DAC, 18 bit ADC, 5 bit master volume, SigmaTel 3D En hancement pcm0: Primary codec extended features AMAP setmap (64c000, 4000), nseg=1, error=0 pcm0: pch[0].offset = 0x4000 setmap (650000, 4000), nseg=1, error=0 pcm0: pch[1].offset = 0x8000 setmap (668000, 4000), nseg=1, error=0 pcm0: pch[2].offset = 0x20000 setmap (66c000, 4000), nseg=1, error=0 pcm0: pch[3].offset = 0x24000 [skip] When I boot my box, sound is works fine, but when I apm -Z (apm -z not work) sound are broken. On FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE in this situation sound works fine, and apm -z (zzz) works fine. Any ideas? Thanks P.S. Sory, my English is not good, but I all understand :-)
