You can cut /var up into seperate partitions, but you can't resize /usr. Use 'disklabel -e' to edit the disklabel, and reallocate the area that /var occupied to different partitions. Don't change any of the numbers that relate to any partitions that you're currently using. If you've never done this before, I _Strongly_Recommend_ making a backup of anything you might want to keep.
