((Ditto with `tip' which was a no-brainer.)) I'm unclear about setting up "time" (restricting hours to call-out; say to the NBS to set up my system clock). Hm. Cnews is down the road away... Anyway, for now, some parts of uucp are still unknown. For example, how is polling handled? And how about permissions? In HDB these are done thru the Poll and Permissions files. Anybody have this set up? Receiving news and mail over a uucp link?? Hopefully. Actually, all I'm looking for now are how-to set up Poll and Permissions. Since I've almost cu working, PPP (and SLIP/CSLIP) are next! :-| Thanks, people, gary -- Gary D. Kline kline@tao.thought.org Public access uNix
