My configuration ? >Well a simple GENERIC kernel produced similar messages. > ... as Peter just announced, SMP is now in the main 3.0-current tree!!! This morning I have successfully run an SMP kernel from the SMP tree as we have left it. I have also successfully run an SMP kernel built from the 3.0-current sys tree. It can rebuild itself without problems. Next I am going to cvsup 3.0-current and rebuild the world with the new SMP kernel... stay tuned. --- The SMP webpage now reflects the change in source trees. -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD
