You will at least need boot.flp and the bin distribution; you will want at least the kernel sources (sys/ssys.*). If PPP isn't working, give 'show modem' and make sure the device is set right (/dev/cuaa0 is sio0/COM1, cuaa1 is sio1/COM2, etc.). If it's wrong, type 'set device /dev/cuaa?) with ? being the proper sio port. Note that sio2 and 3 (COM3 and COM4) aren't supported in the generic kernel. If you have a modem on those ports, move it down to 1 or 2 temporarily, then move it back and compile a new kernel with the appropriate settings.
