I still experience hangs with RELENG_6. Today I though I give it another try. I used a fresh cvsup of RELENG_6. After rm -rf /usr/obj* && make clean && make cleandir && make buildworld && make buildkernel && make install kernel I rebooted into single user mode in order to install the world and execute mergemaster. Even in single user mode the machine will hang after some minutes. I have no problems with RELENG_5. See my other mails in this thread for a verbose dmesg. Any hints on that?
