I think the question is "what does this mean?".  It means that your
disk format is corrupted.  You may be able to salvage things by
reformatting (which, of course, will remove all data).

The main reason is that the "solution" is not really related to the
problem.  If you have bad blocks on your disk, nothing except a format
or similar low-level disk operation will get rid of them.

It would be worthwhile reformatting it first.
