It is now fixed in -current. I mistakenly committed a slightly screwed up version to RELENG_4 before asking Jordan. I hope to get it straightened out ASAP. But if anyone is desperate, they can grab v1.6 of src/sys/crypto/telnet/libtelnet/auth.c. There should be no difference between the HEAD and RELENG_4 versions (there is right now, but that's going to hopefully be fixed).
