Try installing the java/jdk13 port, which includes a netscape plugin compatible with mozilla. Because of Sun's amusing licensing terms you have to compile the port from source and you have to jump through a few hoops in order to get the Java sources, but once you've got that far it's pretty simple to get the port installed.
