The owner of the laptop is not at school today. FYI, I applied John's Kim-derived Mega-patch and realized this was missing. It died without atpic. After adding atpic, I was able to make it work. One question, does MIXED_MODE require atpic to be built-in? It seems like you are using the mixed_mode flag to enable this fix here. Also, there is another patch missing. The following allows you to use=20 PCCARD devices to work. I found this email: http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/htdig/freebsd-amd64/2005-January/003365.ht= ml Which has the problem detailed. Without this, the IO ranges attached to the PCCARD devices asre screwed up, and thus you cannot use them. -- coleman On Tue, Feb 15, 2005 at 09:53:48PM -0800, David O'Brien wrote, and it was p= roclaimed: > On Wed, Feb 16, 2005 at 12:27:55AM -0500, Jung-uk Kim wrote: > > On Tuesday 15 February 2005 05:37 pm, Coleman Kane wrote: > > > Hi, I tested the patch posted by John on a compaq R3000.
