I will try this out on thursday. The owner of the laptop is not at
school today. FYI, I applied John's Kim-derived Mega-patch and realized
this was missing. It died without atpic. After adding atpic, I was able
to make it work.

One question, does MIXED_MODE require atpic to be built-in? It seems like
you are using the mixed_mode flag to enable this fix here.

Also, there is another patch missing. The following allows you to use=20
PCCARD devices to work. I found this email:

Which has the problem detailed. Without this, the IO ranges attached to the
PCCARD devices asre screwed up, and thus you cannot use them.
