I am running FreeBSD 2.2.7 on a Millenium II by Matrox. I have installed X windows and KDE desktop (kde-1.0 'Meta-port' for the KDE integrated desktop X11). I have the sound working. I want to open kmpeg so that i can play audio files on KDE. The only problem is that I can't open the file. Now with some files you obviously need additional files or shellscripts. How do you know what files and shellscripts to use ?? I have used commands like "pkg_info" and "Man", and looked at descriptions given with the packages. I can't find the information that I need to open this file. I have tried typing in the full path to the file and tried opening the KDE lnk file.
