So, you can do one of two things: 1) use anoncvs (haven't tried that yet). 2) on a freebsd x86 machine, use cvsup to get the -current tree. I would suggest using a different default-prefix so as to not overwrite the source in your current tree. Here is my 5.0-supfile: *default host= *default base=/usr/tmp/FreeBSD *default tag=. *default prefix=/usr/local/cvs/FreeBSD *default release=cvs delete use-rel-suffix src-all tag=. I keep all of my CVS sources under /usr/local/cvs. Then I can nfs-export these directories out to the various machines. If you don't have a x86 machine to run cvsup and if anoncvs doesn't work, the last thing I can think of is to grab the newest snapshot ISO and see if it has the source tree. However, I'm damned if I can figure out how to do this. I'm no stranger to updating my i386 STABLE source and rebuilding, but I can't seem to find any tools for updating my sparc64 source tree. cvsupit, which is mentioned in the handbook is missing from the packages-*/All directory on both the primary ftp server and my .uk mirror. Nor can I find where to download the source tree from using FTP. I realise that I shouldn't *expect* much help for -current issues, but if anyone would be kind enough to guide me over this updating hurdle, I should be able to get along pretty much OK after this.
