DNS is part of the base system. You activate it by supplying an appropriate namedflags in /etc/(sysconfig|rc.conf) The default namedflags expect to find your named.boot in /etc/namedb where you will find a skeleton file to get you started and a script, make-localhost, to create your named.local. Add your forward and reverse zone files and you're done. Dan -- Dan Busarow 714 443 4172 DPC Systems / Beach.Net dan@dpcsys.com Dana Point, California 83 09 EF 59 E0 11 89 B4 8D 09 DB FD E1 DD 0C 82
