A bit of a follow up. I was able to get proxying to work through use of sysctl, setting net.link.ether.inet.proxyall=1 This is mentioned in man 4 arp , not the usual man 8 arp, pages However, I never could get it working with individual apr -s commands. It could be I had a setup problem but I really tried MANY combinations of things. -- Len
