My last cvsup/portupgrade was after 20051113 so that one I did get taken care of. The GNOME one I must have overlooked back then, but I'm not having any problems with compiling GTK+ applications. I'm not a programmer, I'm not sure how GTK even if improperly upgraded would cause an "internal compiler error". Then again I also do not use GNOME at all so I'm not sure if that entry in UPDATING even affected me (I use Xfce). The KDE one does not apply me as I do not have KDE installed.
