Netscape install ... I tried the freebsd.tar.gz file. It did not work because of an a.out---elf issue. So I tried the Linux.tar.gz file and it works fine. I notice that a pkg_ has a .tgz extention not .tar.gz. Is the .tar.gz file a package? How can I avoid the a.out---elf issue in the future? 2nd. Apache install ... I tried to install 2.0? and 1.3 from the ports tree. They did not work. I kept getting error on line 205 LOADMODULE problem. Sorry I can't be more specific. So then I deinstall everything Apache and try again. This time I use the /stand/sysinstall method. Apache fires up just fine now. How configureable is this install of Apache? What went wrong in the ports intall? I have soooooo many questions. And I think that I am not sure what the right questions to ask are. Thanks for your time. Paul...
