I'm still a bit curious about why the same set of commands work on an i386 server of a version contemporary with my alpha server. Although I haven't dug too deeply into the matter, a quick peek at the source for ifconfig and gifconfig shows that neither have been updated since August 30. > I'm running several IPv6 gif tunnels on a 4.6-STABLE alpha.
