I've noticed this happening after killing threads and such and rebooting is the only way to get it back to 0. Is this a bug under 2.2? Has anyone else noticed that XFree86 3.2 will in many cases (but not always) cause a 2.2 or 3.0 system to report a load average of at least 1.0? ps/top both indicate little or no CPU activity, but the load average does not fall below 1.0 unless I kill off X.
