I was just curious as to what you thought of my last proposal: To permanently set the hostname, define the variable .Va hostname in .Pa /etc/rc.conf to be the desired name of the host. My personal goal for most of the docco (with the exception of sections 2 and 3 of the man pages, for example) is for it to be easily understood by newbies. Also, I don't know why your English teacher hates the (arguably) largest group of adverbs in existence, I've certainly never encountered that opinion before. -- John Baldwin <jhb@FreeBSD.org> -- http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ PGP Key: http://www.cslab.vt.edu/~jobaldwi/pgpkey.asc "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
