From a post I wrote this morning : Been there, done that : I also got burned by installing Kerberos with FreeBSD (on a 226). The smoothest way to get rid of it is to remake world (which is a good experience when you use FreeBSD) without Kerberos in /etc/make.conf. For this, you will need some hard disk space and time.
