The problem I'm having is that something is spawning alot of perl processes that never die. After having the machine running for 10 hours almost all of my ram and about 50% of the swap is filled with perl processes that never seem to die. After about two days the machine is totally useless and my vnc session dies as soon as I log in to it (I'm assuming it's because there is no ram and the swap is full). I have upgraded to the latest world and kernel from RELENG_4 and all installed applications are up to date. I have tried using both perl 5.6 from ports and the one that comes with 4.7 and I still have the same problem. I'm totally stuck here as I have no idea what is causing this, I never had this problem on my newer P3 with 4.7 on.
