The virtual desktops might be new for people not use MGA QuickDesk or
Diamond's InControl Tools on their Winblows box, but I know plenty of
people I wouldn't call "experts" that depend on Alt-Tab to switch windows
and Alt-F-x to close applications on their M$ OS of choice.

Not entirely. I think it's worth it to at least put some snazzy FreeBSD
wallpaper and or icons about. We don't have to throw ourselves into this,
but we shouldn't half-ass it, etiher.
