There is definitely no DRI3 support in stock FreeBSD kernels. The intel driver should automatically use DRI2 without an explicit option in xorg.conf. At least, on the machines where I am testing, both intel and rad= eon operate correctly with DRI2 although built with DRI3 support enabled.
