 I encountered this before taking over maintenance of the port.  After
 speaking with the notmuch devs / upstream they said that for some strange
 reason the old headers were being picked up during the build.
 
 In order to fix this simply remove the old version and then build the port
 again.  It is not ideal but but it works for now.
