The unit has no floppy or CD (rather well used old unit). I've installed 4.1 onto it using a different machine and then moved the Hard disc into the target machine. It's all worked fine except that I am now unable to get any sort of a response from PCCard dmesg shows the following... atapci0: Busmastering DMA not configured ata0: at 0x1f0 irq 14 on atapci0 pcic-pci0: port 0xfcfc-0xfcff at device 19.0 on pci0 Towards the end of the boot I get two /dev/card0 not configured : messages. On the advice of a friend I've added the following to the loader.conf /boot/loader.conf: machdep.pccard.pcic_irq=3D"0" Anyone got any suggestions on how I might attempt to get this sucker running? regards, Ian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
