When I want to install and configure X Windows, 1. I can not run xf86config program. 2. Tried using /stand/sysinstall but never successful, only got to the stage where it gave me the error "unable to run X server try reconfigure". Keep going like that! 3. I reintalled the entire FreeBSD system and before the end I tried to configure XFree86 but gave me an error _XSocketUnix... error no = 2 and error no = 61. (I have a Sony monitor ES 100, ATI match 64 video card and a microsoft mouse-my mouse seem to work though!) I am trying to install this from CDROM. I would like to get some feedback. Thanks Chandrasena ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
