I didn't have any time to look at it until now, honest!" sorts of requests in mid-to-late February, as is usually the custom. If you want something merged into the 2.2 branch in preparation for 2.2.6, DO IT NOW. I repeat, NOW is the time for merging. These next 10 days. Not February 5th, not February 10th and most definitely NOT February 25th, when I plan on releasing the bits. NOW. In the next 10 days.
