Could be that, if automake *is* there, it needs the *old* one, and the old autoconf, too. I haven't looked at Will's most recent set of bsd.port.mk changes to see how things work now, but, if it works (don't have time to muck with this one), using: USE_AUTOMAKE_VER=14 USE_AUTOCONF_VER=213 might be the easiest ticket to restoring the build. -- Alan E "Please rush me my portable walrus cleaning kit!
