Please tell me how to get more information about using pakeges, not making them. I have 4 cdroms of freebsd 4.5. from them i installed mc, by pkg_add mc-4.5.54_2.tgz. it installed it normally but without text editor. usually from ports i used to install it after editing the make file changing without-edit, to with-edit, and get mc with editor. but how can i do that to a pakage to modify the way it installs its applet? Or how to make that mc from a pakage have in it an internal editor complied? tnx a lot. ===== Regards.
