sysinstall doesn't mount any disks.

Er, if you have been prompted for a terminal type, sysinstall is 
*already*running*, and it has probably exited.  Can you be MORE SPECIFIC 
about your errors messages?

I haven't seen the specific data that I asked for.  I'm not convinced 
this problem is what you think it is.
