            Bug ID: 229109
Summary: config-recursive target broken =E2=80=93 most likely du=
e to
                    OPTION_ changes
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: bugzilla.freebsd@omnilan.de

The config-recursive target doesn't work correctly anymore.
It recurses also dependencies, which were unset/excluded/siwtched off by
OPTIONS framework.
Some time ago, OPTIONS worked very well. No idea why someone changed it and
introduced OPTION_ makros, I don't see any benefit anywhere over the previo=
us
usage.

I would like to know if this is going to change again in the near future or=
 if
it's worth to look at config-recursive: and try to fix.
Meanwhile I'll live with unnecessarily spammed db/ports/ directory, making =
live
harder if one likes to keep overview :-(
