OBE: We've rototilled boot2 and the rest of the boot loader since then.
The forever loop is still there, but we don't seem to hit this issue.
If there's still really a bug in FreeBSD 11 or FreeBSD 12, please open a new
bug with the details and cc me. Thanks!
