https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=194315 Bug ID: 194315 Summary: [patch] net/hostapd: Update version from 2.2 => 2.3 Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: Needs Triage Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: marino@FreeBSD.org CC: leres@ee.lbl.gov CC: leres@ee.lbl.gov Flags: maintainer-feedback?(leres@ee.lbl.gov) Created attachment 148211 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=148211&action=edit Updates hostapd to version 2.3 After a no-approval-needed update to net/hostapd described here: http://www.freshports.org/commit.php?category=net&port=hostapd&files=yes&message_id=201410121046.s9CAkZXI074231@svn.freebsd.org I went ahead and generated a diff to upgrade hostapd to the version 2.3 which was just released on Oct 9th. The main changes: * updated config to match the sample version * fixed config to not hardcode /usr/local, thus supporting non-default locations * moved contents of do-configure target to post-patch Just say, "I approve" and I will commit the patch attached to the PR.
