There you make the statement: "It is our duty to warn you that, even when FreeBSD is configured in this way, it does not completely comply with the Internet standard requirements for routers; however, it comes close enough for ordinary usage." It is my intention to take a high speed data line from an Internet Access Provider, feed it into a SDL Riscom card which is installed in a PC running FreeBSD and reroute the data at lower speed through several other SDL Riscom card in the same backplane. In this manner, I could fractionalize the high speed data feed and reroute the signals. Will your "...close enough for ordinary usage" preclude the success of this idea? David Nowak djnowak@pop.com --
