I'm trying to figure out how I can write a drop-in lkm that will interact with the kernel with minimal modification of kernel source. The design i am basing it on is ip_fw, but when looking through ip_fw.c, I can't see how it is called from the kernel when a packet arrives to be processed (if ip_fw has been loaded as an lkm). Could someone give me some help to figure this out?
