Something seems to be amiss in intltool-0.28_1. Attempts to compile
either gcalctool or gnomesession now fail. The following fragment from
gnomesession is illustrative (gcalctool fails in a very similar manner):

LC_ALL=C ../intltool-merge ../po gnome-session.schemas.in
gnome-session.schemas
-s -u -c ../po/.intltool-merge-cache
Not enough arguments for mkdir at ../intltool-merge line 979, near
"$lang or"
Execution of ../intltool-merge aborted due to compilation errors.
