Are you saying that the machine/i4b gets into a non-usable state after this ?

Without further information, this looks like a cabling problem or a no-good
plug or jack somewhere.

What is happening actually is, that the layer 1 cannot get access to the
NT (which connects you to the exchange) anymore.

But - i just see it - something _really_ strange is going on here, the
call number gets reset from 00934 to 00000. I have no idea what is going
on there ....
