I am writing a device driver for Chase Research AT series SIO cards
and they use two jumper selectable IRQ's, is there a feature in
config to allow the selection of more than 1 IRQ or do I need to
hard-code the second one ?

Also, at some time I will need a major, but until I am sure that I
can actually manage writing this driver I am just using the next one
in 0423 snap (74) as there was no reserved character device number
listed.

Cheers

Phil.
