Just a note: When burning a CD that is to be used on other FreeBSD
machines, the -R option in the above example should probably be replaced
with -r (small r instead of CAPITAL R). That way, the owner/group info is
set to more useful values when using a CD on a different machine.

Of course, when burning a home directory for backup purposes, which is
what Richard's example is showing, the -R option is probably better
suited, as the backup is intended to be used for restoration reasons on
the machine on which it was created.
