I just cvsup'd a box to stable yesterday from 4.4-PRE dated august 9.
While rearanging some fairly large directory trees after the update the
box rebooted. Here's the current dmesg output:

The /kernel: LEARED) message probably occured right before the reboot
according to the uptime, and the system clock. The system is a dual 166
pentium (no mmx) on a tyan tomcat 3. Here's the last good dmesg:
