Hi, As previously suggested, you should absolutely try connecting the pl2303 = to the Pi through a _powered_ USB hub. If it operates correctly like = that, the Pi USB ports don=E2=80=99t supply enough power to run the = pl2303 reliably and software won=E2=80=99t fix that.
