You can do so by entering the CLI kernel configuration and typing "eisa 0". After installation but BEFORE REBOOTING, make sure to recompile a new kernel that does not have "device eisa" anywhere in it. That said, 4.5R doesn't support the touchpad or the soundcard on the Toshiba Satellite 3000-S304 without a patch that some guy distributed on a mailing list.
