Well, the aic driver is a bit rusty, and certainly not one of the
pieces we are most proud of. ;)

Hmm, i've also heard about problems with other CD changers when
accessing multiple CDs simultaneously.

It's supposed to reboot automatically.

Ah, that's why it didn't do in your case.  Your file system(s) were
seriously damaged, perhaps as a consequence of the SCSI crash.
