" Have you ever run or seen run freebsd using both a SCSI and IDE hard-drive? below is the system configuration (this is apparently a system that ken might have mucked up) Adapter: adaptec ultra 160 Drive(s): seagate cheetah 18Gb also using IDE CDROM 48x drive and ultra dma 20gb drive " I suggested that he just rebuild a kernel with both SCSI and IDE support.
