I propose that it should update the src tree as well, if it is found. This will permit me to build and install my new kerne= l, then continue. As it is now, I have to run "install" a second time (no reboot required) to= get it to update the src tree, but that also installs all of user land. I then install my new kernel, reboot, and run the final "install". This has been lucky enough to work for me for the upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2-BETA1 and the= n to 11.2-BETA3, but I don't really like counting on luck for things to work.
