This required the Apache server to be compiled statically with libdescrypt, or libcrypt linked to libdescrypt on FreeBSD in order to authenticate Frontpage users. Now that we have the FreeBSD extentsions, fpsrvadm.exe is compiled dynamically with libcrypt. Unfortunately, RTR forgot to test fpsrvadm.exe with libscrypt, thus MD5 passwords didn't work. Scot PS.
