The tests included in PHP tarball are a good starting point. This time
(with 5.2.1 release) they completed without errors (more than 1700
tests). The problem is that they test only compiled-in extensions, so
this spl regression was left out. Having time and resources, it'd be
interesting to build at least the default php5 extensions every time and
run the modified tests over them.
