The tests included in PHP tarball are a good starting point. This time (with 5.2.1 release) they completed without errors (more than 1700 tests). The problem is that they test only compiled-in extensions, so this spl regression was left out. Having time and resources, it'd be interesting to build at least the default php5 extensions every time and run the modified tests over them. -- Alex Dupre
